Starting prices

Different films are built differently.

PPF pricing varies with the film's construction, topcoat, clarity, performance characteristics, warranty and manufacturer — as well as the requirements of the vehicle and installation.

The number of warranty years alone shouldn't decide which film goes on your car.

Understanding PPF

Why does PPF quality matter?

They can look similar on day one.
The difference shows up over time.

Two transparent films can look remarkably similar when first installed. The differences often become clearer with time — in optical clarity, surface performance, adhesive behaviour, ageing and how well the film retains its appearance.

Optical Clarity

Quality PPF

High clarity that preserves the depth and appearance of the original paint.

Lower-Quality PPF

Can introduce more haze, distortion or visible surface texture.

Topcoat

Quality PPF

Engineered surface layer designed for characteristics such as stain resistance and surface recovery.

Lower-Quality PPF

Limited or inconsistent surface protection over time.

Self-Healing

Quality PPF

Where supported by the film, light surface swirls can recover with suitable heat.

Lower-Quality PPF

Limited, inconsistent or absent surface recovery.

Yellowing / Optical Stability

Quality PPF

Designed to retain clarity and resist premature discolouration.

Lower-Quality PPF

Greater possibility of visible discolouration as the film ages.

Adhesive

Quality PPF

Automotive adhesive designed for consistent bonding and application.

Lower-Quality PPF

Greater possibility of lifting or inconsistent adhesive behaviour.

Long-Term Appearance

Quality PPF

Designed to maintain clarity, finish and surface consistency over time.

Lower-Quality PPF

Greater possibility of haze, deterioration or inconsistent ageing.

Warranty

Quality PPF

Clearly defined product warranty and coverage.

Lower-Quality PPF

Warranty terms may be more limited or unclear.

Thicker doesn't automatically mean better.

Film thickness is one part of PPF performance. Film construction, topcoat, optical clarity, adhesive, durability and installation all contribute to the final result.

How PPF is built

Top-Coat Layer

The outer protective layer responsible for surface characteristics such as stain resistance and, where applicable, self-healing.

Core Layer

The flexible protective film that provides physical protection while conforming to the vehicle's surfaces.

Adhesive Layer

The layer responsible for securely bonding the film to the painted surface.

Top-coat, core, and adhesive layer construction of paint protection film

The Other Half of PPF

The film is only half the job.

Even a high-quality PPF can produce a poor result when it isn't installed correctly. Surface preparation, positioning, controlled application and attention to edges and finishing all contribute to the final result.

No — high-quality PPF installed and removed correctly protects factory paint rather than damaging it.

It absorbs impacts from most small stones and road debris, though very large or high-speed impacts can still cause damage.

Modern premium TPU film is UV-resistant and stays clear for years — yellowing was mostly an issue with older, lower-quality films.

They do different jobs — PPF is physical impact protection, ceramic coating adds gloss and easier cleaning. Many owners use both together.

4–12 years, depending on film quality and how well it's maintained.

Yes. Installing PPF when a car is new protects the factory paint from day one, before it accumulates chips, scratches or swirl marks — rather than trying to correct existing damage later.

The warranty duration reflects the manufacturer's confidence in that film's construction and expected performance over time. Higher-warranty films are typically built with more advanced materials, though actual longevity also depends on usage, climate and maintenance.

Not necessarily. Film thickness is only one factor — construction, topcoat quality, optical clarity, adhesive and installation quality all contribute to how a film performs and ages.

Yes, though it's minimal. Regular washing and avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning helps the film maintain its clarity and surface performance over its lifespan.

In most cases, yes — when installed and removed correctly on sound, original OEM paintwork. Paint that has been repainted, repaired or poorly cured may respond differently during removal.

Generally yes, though the condition and cure time of the repaint should be assessed first. A qualified installer can advise whether the paint is ready for film application.

Vehicle-specific graphics designed to enhance your car's original character. Precision-designed for the perfect fit, with just the right amount of visual impact.

Find Graphics for Your Car

Why IDE Graphics Series?

Designed Specifically for Your Car

  • Created for the exact brand and model
  • Follows the car's proportions and body lines
  • Feels like it belongs on the car

Premium Automotive-Grade Material

  • Automotive-grade exterior vinyl
  • Printed, laminated and precision-cut
  • Durable, premium finish

Maximum Impact. Minimal Coverage.

  • A few touches, a different-looking car
  • Highlights the vehicle's best lines
  • Subtle, not shouting

Yes. Each design is developed specifically around the surfaces, proportions and character lines of the particular vehicle. This creates a much more integrated, factory-inspired appearance than generic automotive stickers.

Many IDE Graphics Series kits are designed to be DIY-friendly. Your kit comes with an application guide and the tools you need to get started. If you're comfortable taking your time and following the instructions, you can install it yourself.

Not necessarily. Simpler graphics can be installed yourself. For larger or more complex designs — or if you simply want a hassle-free professional finish — we recommend installation by an experienced vinyl applicator. Ideally, any local wrap shop or PPF installer should be able to install it within 30 minutes to an hour.

No. IDE Graphics Series allows you to change the appearance of your car without committing to paint or a full vehicle wrap. When professionally removed, the graphics can be taken off without permanently altering the original OEM paintwork.

IDE Partial X Series

More Coverage. More Character.

Designed for those who want more than a subtle graphic, but don't want to commit to a full vehicle wrap. Partial X uses larger, strategically placed graphics to transform the character of your car while allowing its original colour to remain part of the design.

Find Partial X for Your Car

Why Partial X?

A Bigger Transformation

  • Significantly more coverage than Graphics Series
  • Original body colour stays part of the design
  • A much stronger visual change

One Design. Many Personalities.

  • A strong visual identity of its own
  • Adapts differently to every vehicle
  • Never quite looks the same twice

The Sweet Spot

  • Bolder than graphics, lighter than a full wrap
  • No full-vehicle coverage or commitment
  • A bold new identity, carefully considered

Unlike IDE Graphics Series, most Partial X designs are not created for just one specific vehicle.

Each Partial X design has a strong visual identity of its own — one that can adapt to the form, proportions and personality of different cars. What makes it interesting is that the same design never quite feels the same twice.

A Panther Edition on a Scorpio-N can feel powerful and imposing, while the same design on a Thar can take on a more rugged, adventurous character.

We believe a great graphic doesn't simply sit on a car. It creates a relationship between the design, the vehicle and the person driving it. As the car changes, that relationship changes too — creating an expression that feels uniquely its own.

That is the idea behind Partial X: one design, many personalities.

IDE Graphics Series is about minimal coverage and subtle enhancement — graphics designed specifically around the individual vehicle.

Partial X takes things further. The graphics are larger, more expressive and create a much stronger visual transformation.

Think of it simply as: Graphics Series enhances your car. Partial X transforms it.

Given the size and coverage of Partial X graphics, we recommend professional installation for the best finish.

A trained installer will typically require up to 2 hours to complete the installation, depending on the vehicle and design.

IDE offers installation support across most major cities in India. Installation is charged separately at actuals.

If IDE installation support is not available in your city, any experienced vehicle wrap or PPF installation studio should be able to install the kit. If required, the IDE team can also provide live video assistance to guide the installer through the application.

Both. Every Partial X kit includes graphics for both the Left-Hand Side (LHS) and Right-Hand Side (RHS) of the vehicle, giving you the complete design as shown.

No — and that is the idea behind Partial X.

Instead of covering the complete vehicle, the design selectively transforms key areas of the car while intentionally allowing the original body colour to remain visible and become part of the composition.

The result is a significant visual transformation without committing to a full vehicle wrap.

IDE One Off Edition

Your Car. Reimagined.

Our most expressive automotive graphics experience. One Off Edition transforms the entire vehicle into a complete visual concept — where colour, graphics and the form of the car come together to create an entirely new identity.

Explore One Off Editions
Mahindra BE6 with a black and red IDE One Off Edition Hyperline graphic wrap

Why One Off Edition?

The Car Becomes the Canvas

  • The whole car is part of the composition
  • Design flows across surfaces and body lines
  • One cohesive visual statement

A Complete New Identity

  • No longer limited by the original colour
  • Graphics, colour and form work together
  • An entirely new personality

Designed to Make a Statement

  • Bold, expressive, unmistakably individual
  • Not just another car on the road
  • Feels truly personal

One Off Edition represents the most expressive end of IDE's automotive graphics portfolio.

Instead of enhancing selected areas of the vehicle, the design uses almost the entire car as a canvas. Colour, graphics, surfaces and proportions are considered together to create a complete visual identity.

It sits closest to a full printed vehicle wrap — but the starting point is always design, not simply changing the colour of the car.

One Off Edition is for people who see their vehicle as an extension of their personality — a way to express something about themselves through the car they drive.

The biggest difference is the degree of transformation.

Graphics Series → Enhance — Minimal, vehicle-specific graphics that work with the car's existing character.

Partial X → Transform — Larger and more expressive graphics that significantly change the personality of the vehicle while retaining portions of its original colour.

One Off Edition → Reimagine — A near-complete visual transformation where the entire vehicle becomes the canvas for a new design identity.

One Off Edition is designed as a near-full or full vehicle transformation.

Coverage varies slightly depending on the individual design and vehicle, but unlike Graphics Series or Partial X, the artwork extends across most of the visible exterior surfaces to create one complete composition.

Please refer to the individual product images to understand the exact coverage of each edition.

Yes. Given the size and coverage of One Off Edition graphics, professional installation is required for the best finish.

A One Off Edition is a detailed vehicle wrapping process involving large-format graphics applied across multiple panels, curves and complex surfaces. A trained installer will typically require 2–3 days to complete the installation, depending on the vehicle and complexity of the design.

IDE offers installation support across most major cities in India. Installation is charged separately at actuals.

If we're unable to provide an installer in your city, any experienced vehicle wrap or PPF installation studio should be able to install your One Off Edition. And if they need help along the way, our team can provide live video assistance to guide the installer through the application.

Check Installation Support in Your City

Colour options depend on the individual One Off Edition. Where alternate colourways are available, they will be shown on the respective product page.

We usually create or adapt each design to work with the different original body colours in which that particular vehicle is available. This allows the vehicle's base colour to become part of the overall composition rather than simply being something the graphic needs to cover.

If you have a particular colour combination in mind, you can contact IDE before ordering and our team can confirm whether the design can be adapted for your vehicle.

No. We do not print One Off Edition graphics on transparent vinyl.

Transparent films are primarily used as laminates and protective films, and the transparent printable materials commonly available are not what we recommend for this type of direct-to-paint automotive graphic application.

Instead, One Off Edition is produced using automotive-grade opaque vinyl specifically designed for application on vehicle paintwork.

This gives us the appropriate material performance while also providing a consistent base for reproducing the colours, details and visual depth of the artwork.

We aim to achieve the closest possible visual match wherever the design requires the printed vinyl to blend with the vehicle's original body colour.

However, an exact 100% match between printed vinyl and automotive paint is not technically possible.

Automotive paint and digital printing create colour in fundamentally different ways. Your vehicle's paint uses pigments, metallic or pearl particles, clear coats and reflected light to create its final appearance. Printed graphics, on the other hand, reproduce colour using a CMYK digital printing process on vinyl.

The appearance of automotive paint can also change depending on sunlight, viewing angle and surrounding reflections — particularly with metallic and pearl finishes.

Our design and production team therefore works to achieve the closest visual colour match possible, so the printed areas integrate naturally with the vehicle.

Minor differences between the printed vinyl and the original paint colour should be expected and are a normal characteristic of combining two different materials and colour-production processes.

No. One Off Edition uses automotive wrapping films and does not require repainting the vehicle.

When correctly installed and professionally removed, automotive vinyl can generally be removed from sound, original OEM paintwork without permanently altering the underlying finish.

As with any automotive wrap, vehicles with repainted, repaired, damaged, weak or poorly cured paint may behave differently during removal.

Why Wrap Your Car?

Change Without Commitment

  • Fully reversible*
  • Original paint stays protected underneath
  • Professionally removed when you're ready for a change

Colours Beyond the Factory Palette

  • Gloss, satin, matte, metallic finishes
  • Colours never offered from the factory
  • A look that feels far more personal

A Completely Different Character

  • Changes how the car feels, not just looks
  • Elegant to aggressive, understated to expressive
  • Driven entirely by colour and finish

* Applies to vehicles with sound, original OEM paintwork that is correctly installed and professionally removed. Repainted, repaired, damaged or poorly cured paint may behave differently during removal.

A professionally installed premium cast vinyl wrap can typically last around 2 - 5 years, depending on the material, usage, environmental exposure and how the vehicle is maintained.

Cars regularly parked outdoors in harsh sunlight and weather may experience faster ageing than vehicles that are predominantly parked indoors or under cover.

Proper washing and care can also help maintain the appearance of the wrap over its life.

When the vehicle has sound original OEM paintwork, a quality automotive wrap that is correctly installed and professionally removed should not permanently damage the underlying factory paint.*

In fact, while installed, the vinyl also creates a physical barrier between the painted surface and everyday environmental exposure.

However, repainted, repaired, damaged, weak or poorly cured paint can behave differently during removal. We recommend informing our team of any previous paint or body repairs before wrapping the vehicle.

It depends on what you're trying to achieve.

A repaint permanently changes the painted finish of the vehicle and can make sense when the existing paint itself requires restoration or repair.

A wrap is ideal when your existing paint is in good condition and you simply want to experience your car in a completely different colour or finish.

The biggest advantage is reversibility.

You can enjoy a completely new look today and, when you're ready for another change, professionally remove the wrap and return to the original factory colour.*

A complete colour-change wrap is a detailed installation process.

Depending on the vehicle, complexity and material selected, we generally require the car for approximately 2–3 days.

This allows our installers sufficient time for preparation, application, detailing and finishing rather than rushing the installation.

Colour wraps go far beyond simply choosing another shade.

Depending on the vinyl range and manufacturer, options can include:

Gloss — for a deep, paint-like appearance.

Satin — a sophisticated finish that sits between gloss and matte.

Matte — for a flatter, more understated and distinctive appearance.

Metallic — adds depth and metallic character to the colour.

Other speciality finishes and textures may also be available depending on the material range.

Available colours and finishes change regularly, so customers should refer to the current material catalogue or speak with our team before finalising their wrap.

We work with premium automotive-grade wrapping films selected according to the finish, colour, performance and application requirements of the vehicle.

The exact material options available may vary depending on the colour and finish selected.

Our team can guide you through the available material choices before installation so you can select the right balance of appearance, performance and budget.

Yes, but with an important consideration.

Vinyl can be installed over repainted panels, but the strength and quality of aftermarket paint can vary considerably.

During future removal, there is a greater possibility of weak or poorly bonded aftermarket paint lifting with the vinyl.

For this reason, we recommend informing IDE about any repainted or repaired panels before installation so the condition of the vehicle can be assessed.

No.

Although automotive vinyl creates a physical layer over the paint and can provide some protection from light environmental exposure, a colour wrap should not be considered a substitute for Paint Protection Film (PPF).

PPF is specifically engineered to provide significantly greater protection against stone chips, scratches and everyday road damage.

Choose a colour wrap primarily when your goal is to change the appearance of the car.

Choose PPF primarily when your goal is to protect the paint.

Yes.

A wrapped vehicle can be washed regularly, but we recommend gentle hand washing using a mild automotive shampoo and a soft microfiber cloth.

Avoid aggressive scrubbing, harsh chemicals and directing high-pressure water extremely close to the edges of the vinyl.

Proper care will help preserve both the finish and life of the wrap.

Yes.

One of the biggest advantages of wrapping your car is that the transformation is reversible.

Automotive wrapping vinyl is specifically designed to be removable. When professionally removed within the recommended service life, it can generally be taken off sound original OEM paintwork without permanently altering the underlying finish.*

Vehicles with repainted, repaired, damaged or poorly cured paint may behave differently during removal.

Installation

Professionally Installed.

A full colour change involves much more than simply applying vinyl to large panels. Proper preparation, edge finishing, panel transitions, curves and detailing all contribute to how the finished car looks — and how well the wrap ages. Our trained installers take the time required to achieve a clean, considered finish. Typical installation time: 2–3 Days. Installation is carried out exclusively at our Gurgaon studio.
